Last May 2025, Art Socialize and MaryamsMark attending Fan Expo Phl as a community – hosting the fun game “SpinFluence” which allowed participants the chance to give tips and advice to artist on ways to grow their creations. The fun game attracted participants of all ages, and each received a free promo gift paint kit or sticker for playing along. Many of the tips can be viewed on our Instagram social media page for Instagram. We also collected hand-written tips in our “SpinFluence” bucket. The hand-written tips will be shared soon so stay tuned for those.
We also had the opportunity to have participants meet up in the “FriendsZone” to interact with us while we host “Fast Sketch and Swap!” Fast Sketch and Swap is a fun activity allowing artist and/or art lovers sit together, draw a character from Pokemon or X-Men, then once the 10-15 minute time runs out, they have to “swap” their artwork with another participant – gaining the chance to meet a new friend and follow each other on social media. No one is forced to become friends in a matter of minutes, as we understand most artist are introverts, but we encourage creatives to at least have a short conversation with someone of like mind.
This year, 2026 – We are back but we will not host an Art Socialize SpinFluence Community Table however we wouldn’t miss the chance of bringing artist together. We will be hosting “Fast Sketch and Swap” on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 12:30 pm in room 122B – MakerSpace. You must have a ticket to Fan Expo Philadelphia 2026 in order to enter and participate.
